This technology giant threatens not to pay employees who have not been vaccinated

The technology giant IBM, told its employees who work in the United States area to immediately inject the Corona vaccine. If not, then the threat is suspension and unpaid salaries.

The deadline given by IBM is until December 8th. If they are not vaccinated by that date, the employees could face severe consequences.

IBM announced to employees that they must comply with the Corona vaccine mandate issued by President Joe Biden some time ago, in order to ward off a pandemic that has not been fully controlled in Uncle Sam's country.

"It is business compliance for IBM to fulfill this mandate. Due to these requirements, policies of our clients and partners and easy access to vaccines across the country, we now require all IBM US employees to be fully vaccinated until December 8, 2021 in order to work in IBM," IBM said in its announcement.

Unlike some other companies such as United Airlines which even threatened with dismissal, IBM 'only' will not pay salaries of employees who complain that they don't want to be vaccinated. It was only after there was evidence that they had received the Corona vaccine, the salary was given again.

IBM also promised to consider if it turns out that employees can not be vaccinated for certain reasons that are considered strong. For example, related to medical reasons or certain beliefs.

Not only IBM, other big technology companies in America also provide more or less the same policy. In July, Google announced that the Corona vaccine is mandatory for all employees who want to work in the office.
