Accused of using steroids, it turns out that this Korean Idol's Testosterone is Above Normal!

South Korean idol Kim JongKook is rumored to be using steroids for his big body. It turned out that his testosterone levels were above normal. Kim JongKook is known as a singer and actor on Running Man.

Launching the Korea Herald, Thursday (11/18/2021) Kim in fact does have a notoriously high testosterone level. On the SBS show, it was revealed that Kim's total testosterone was 9.24 nanograms per milliliter, which was considered very high for a man his age of 42 at the time. The average figure for a man is 2.7-10.7 ng per mL, according to Severance Hospital in Seoul. However, this number will decrease with age. But with Kim still having such high numbers, this is a surprise.

In a video Kim uploaded to his YouTube channel recently, a blood test at a local hospital found Kim's total testosterone level to be 8.38 nanograms. This figure is lower than three years ago, but still very high for his age.

Although it's been said that Kim's body is full of male hormones, there's still a lot of debate about where it comes from. One of the most suspicious is a fitness YouTuber named Greg Doucette. He said Kim JongKook's stout body might not be 'natural' even though he worked hard to build his body.

"Is he natural? Of course not!" said Doucette in the video. He added that he thought Kim could not possibly be on performance-enhancing drugs like anabolic steroids, but rather hormone replacement therapy like Doucette himself. HRT has been shown to be effective in reversing the effects of aging on muscles.

Kim actually has said without hesitation that he is willing to undergo any tests to prove whether he is using drugs or not. He is currently reportedly taking the necessary steps to do so.

Even so, Kim said he was not too bothered by people's comments about testosterone test results showing unusually high numbers. After all, people will believe what they want to believe.
