Cloud Gaming Starts Available on Xbox

Microsoft has started to bring its cloud gaming service called Xbox Cloud Gaming to the Xbox console lineup, namely the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

With this feature, Xbox console users who subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate will be able to enjoy the Xbox Cloud Gaming. However, the service is only available in 25 countries, and Indonesia is not included in the list of these countries.

Reported by The Verge, Thursday (11/18/2021) this service, according to Microsoft, may not be available immediately, because its availability will be gradual to a certain number of Xbox users initially, and only available to all users -- in those 25 countries -- in the next few weeks.

The cloud gaming service on the console allows users to try out the games on Game Pass without the need to download them first, considering the size of the games on this console is fairly large.

Or it could be if you get an invitation to play multiplayer but the game to be played has not been installed. So by using cloud gaming, users can immediately play the game without having to wait long.

The advantage for users of older consoles, in this case the Xbox One, is even greater. Users can play games that are only available for the newer Xbox Series X/S on their old consoles. Although Microsoft's flagship title such as Flight Simulator is not yet available, and is promised to be present in early 2022.

Xbox Cloud Gaming was originally called Project xCloud and first came to iOS and PC in beta last April. It then expanded availability to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers last June, and was only integrated into consoles for Xbox Insiders last September.

The presence of this cloud gaming service comes shortly after some interesting announcements for Xbox users. Such as the launch of Halo Infinte multiplayer, the presence of 76 old school games that can be played on the latest Xbox, FPS Boost for several Cloud Gaming titles and many games on Xbox Series X/S.
