Where on January 2-3, 2022, Apple will provide gift cards to customers with certain product purchases. The first 20,000 customers who purchase an iPhone and qualify will receive a limited edition AirTag.
Reported by us from 9to5mac, Tuesday (12/28/2021) 2022 is the year of the Tiger in Japan. Thus, this limited edition AirTag will be presented with a tiger emoji image display in red.
To get the AirTag, customers must purchase an iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, or iPhone SE on January 2 or 3 in Japan. This is a limited production of only 20,000 units so it will be very rare.
This promotion includes an Apple gift card with an amount that varies depending on the product you purchase. If the user buys an iPhone 12, 12 mini, or SE then they will receive a card worth 6,000 Yen.
If users buy AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max, they can get cards worth up to 9,000 Yen.
Apple Watch Series 3 or SE can get you a card worth 6,000 Yen. Apple's newest iPad Pro can get you a gift card worth 12,000 Yen.
Apple also offers gift cards of up to 24,000 Yen with certain Mac purchases. There's also a gift card if the user buys an Apple TV, Beats headphones, or other accessory.
