Two creators from Indonesia became the world's top creators who were selected for the global Meta campaign. They are the people behind Spark AR Effects Madebyhumans and Filterqu, both of whom are the only creators to share Ramadan-themed creations -- officially from Instagram -- that can now be used by people all over the world.


In the 'Global Ramadan Campaign #BulanKebaikan dari Meta', Tuesday (5/4/2022), Pieter Lydian Country Director Meta in Indonesia said that these two creators are creators who make Indonesia proud.




"They are Indonesian children who are global, top Indonesian creators who are global. Why? For global campaigns, Meta collaborates with creators to create AR Effect. This will be used all over the world. Which other countries were chosen in the global Meta campaign? None , only Indonesia," said Pieter.


Michael Andrian Creative Technologist who is the maker of Madebyhumans said he was very proud of the selection of Madebyhumans in this campaign. He also revealed a number of problems he faced while working with Dubai creator Amr Maskoun.



"We are based on target tracking. We collaborate with celebgrams from Dubai and we want works that are easy to access," said the man who is familiarly called Mike.



"For Meta, thank you for trusting us. The challenge of this project is more towards the design experience, so that it can be shared with everyone and our AR design does not ignore the real world itself," he continued.


Ellen Livia, the founder of Filterqu, who collaborated with RANS to create RANSmadan Run, also shared her story. Together with Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina, he and his team started producing AR Effects within two weeks.


"RANSmadan, which I developed in collaboration with Meta and RANS, is a game that can be played by moving your face to the right or left. While doing nothing, you can immediately try the game as if it were a collaboration with Gigi or Raffi, you can also choose the character Raffi or Mbak Gigi," Ellen said. .


In terms of challenges, Ellen admitted that it was the Month of Kindness theme that became the root of this Meta campaign that made her and the team think harder.


"One, what is usual in the month of Ramadan? Mostly, fast food. Second, how can this filter be accessed by all, language agnostic, from small children to adults," he said.
