Google also commemorates Earth Day 2022 on its search page. Terrifying timelapse of four places on Earth presented Google Doodle
The Earth Day 2022 doodle takes on the most pressing topic of our time, namely climate change. Using real time imagery from Google Earth Timelapse and other sources, Google shows the impacts of climate change in four different locations on our planet.
The picture in each place will change after a few hours. The four locations featured in the 2022 Earth Day Google Doodle are:
1. Mount Kalimanjoro in Tanzania

2. Sermersooq in Greenland

3. Australia's Great Barrier Reef

4. The Harz Forest in Germany
The Harz Forest in Elend in Germany has been damaged by a bark beetle attack. This occurs as a result of rising temperatures and severe drought.
"Acting now and together to live more sustainably is needed to avoid the worst impacts of climate change," Google said.
