WhatsApp is the most popular messaging application. Whether communicating with friends, family, and even co-workers are now busy using this one chat application.

1. Take advantage of the Last Seen feature on WhatsApp

The first way to make WhatsApp look offline is to take advantage of the last seen feature in WhatsApp. With this feature, other WhatsApp users will not know when you were last online.


How to activate it is easy, namely as follows:


Open the WhatsApp app

Select Settings or Settings

Continue to Privacy or Privacy

At the top, click 'Last Seen'

There are three options, Everyone, My Contacts and Nobody

Select 'None' to keep you from getting caught when WhatsApp is online

2. Turn off Blue Tick

You can turn off the blue tick so you don't get caught online. In this way, you can find out the contents of incoming messages without being caught reading them.


The method that needs to be done is also easy, as follows:


Open the WhatsApp app

Select Settings or Settings

Continue to Privacy or Privacy

Report read, enable or not by sliding the button to the side


3. Take advantage of the Quick Reply Feature

This one is a quick way to look offline when you are still online, by using the quick reply feature.


This feature will make incoming messages appear directly on the home screen and you can immediately reply to them. However, this feature is only for replying to messages, not for viewing photos or videos sent.


For Android Users

Tap the message that appears on the home screen

There are two options, 'Mark as read' or 'Reply'

If you want to reply, you can directly click reply and send a message when you're done

For iOS Users

Swipe left when a message arrives on the home screen.

Then you can immediately reply.
