Through the Setel app you can purchase fuel from Petronas stations directly from the smartphone app. There is no need to scan a physical card at the pump or walk to the counter to make a payment which is very pleasant especially during a pandemic. Setel's social media account today shared an image that disrupted electric vehicle charging support.
Based on the text image shared, it is certain that electric vehicle charging support will be provided in the near future. The question is where it will be supported and whether it is also limited to the Petronas station network only. The mystery will be answered in the near future because based on the response given, the official announcement will be made as early as tomorrow.
Electric vehicle charging system is very much needed in Malaysia to increase its use along with more affordable electric vehicles. Later we will see the launch of affordable Geely cars as well as Smart #1 distributed by Proton.
