Clubhouse was one of the hotly talked about apps when PKP was due to Covid-19 about a year ago. At that time, its popularity increased sharply, besides various parties also developed their own audio-social offerings.
Whatever it is, now, a year later, the Clubhouse has started to lose popularity. Its user numbers have also dropped drastically-even the active audio rooms are very few than ever before.
In parallel, Clubhouse has now reduced their employee numbers - showing various high -ranking executives leaving the company.
For now, it is unknown what the plans are for the Clubhouse, and how they will continue to lead the arena. Facebook and various other companies that add social audio features have also reduced their focus and started integrating it with various other functions - thus reducing spending on its development.
