IPhone Users Can Bypass CAPTCHA Verification With iOS 16

CAPTCHA authentication systems that differentiate between human or bot users are very time consuming. Sometimes the image chosen correctly is said to be wrong because 2 micrometers of the traffic light picture comes out of the box that is not pressed. For those who hate CAPTCHAs, you may be able to start migrating to iPhones anytime soon.

On iOS 16 there is a feature called Automatic Verification. When activated websites that use CAPTCHAs will allow iOS users to bypass this identity verification system. This is done through the Private Access Token feature which is used in conjunction with the user's Apple ID. Therefore, this feature can only be enjoyed by users of the Sign in With Apple feature introduced in 2019.

Cloudflare and Fastly are among the services that have already confirmed that they will support Private Access Token and Automatic Verification system. So any site that uses both services will be able to be used by iPhone users without having to worry about CAPTCHAs.
