Toge Production, a local developer and publisher from Indonesia, will soon release a new game titled Vanaris Tactics. Interestingly, this game was developed by a solo developer from Brazil, Matheys Reis.
The plan is to visit PC gamers in the next few days, to be precise on August 4, 2022. Players can enjoy it through the game trading platform, on Steam and GOG.
Asked about the reason for choosing and wanting to launch Vanaris Tactics, Kris Antoni, CEO of Toge Productions, said that his party wanted to provide an opportunity for small game developers to show their work. This is because it is one of the visions and missions of Toge Productions.
"After helping quite a number of game developers in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries, Toge Productions is now expanding to other countries, one of which is Brazil," Kris told us, Friday (29/7/2022).
Vanaris Tactics itself carries the concept of a Turn-Based Tactic Role Playing Game. Reis as the developer, brought the story of the refugees in an effort to free themselves from their colonized land.
At least players will follow Morgana's adventures, finding freedom outside the walls of Vanaris. No need to worry, the struggle is not alone, because it is accompanied by his brother Nigel and his nephew Adrien.
Reis said he was inspired by a Japanese animated series, about a group of people who live surrounded by a giant wall, without knowing how they ended up there. It is known, he also grew up playing a similar tactical game.
Titles such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, are another inspiration for Reis, and incorporate all the elements in them. He then mix and match with a little cultural values of his country, and created Vanaris Tactics.
To be able to play this game, gamers can buy it at a very cheap price. Even at launch, Toge Productions and Reis gave a 10% discount.
