Ali Baba Group has launched an ultra-thin cloud-powered laptop dubbed the Wuying Cloudbook, recently. It features a 14-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2.5K that is loaded into the body with a thickness of only 13.9mm.
Powered by the Alibaba Cloud Architecture, it also uses the high level of security and reliability that characterizes the cloud. This simultaneously enables users to take full advantage of the power of cloud computing while increasing cost efficiency, as well as facilitating collaboration in increasingly diverse hybrid office settings.
It provides unlimited cloud computing power to run computing-intensive software such as video rendering and image generation. At the same time, it also gives users freedom by allowing them to run workloads in the cloud without having to download and install software on the device.
In addition, users can also run multiple operating systems simultaneously, this includes Windows, Linux or Android. Wuying Cloudbook is an ideal choice for new ways of working such as remote work and collaboration between users in different locations. It also supports Wi-Fi6 and 4G LTE connectivity for users to stay online. No technical specifications have been shared so far.
