As is known, Redmi devices under the K series often focus on internal hardware support that matches the price range. This includes better overall performance improvements for each variation produced.
Various rumors about a new variation for the series have been heard lately. Most recently, Redmi is believed to be introducing three different model options for it which include the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60E. It is expected to be launched this December, but no official date has been set so far.
Information about the processing chip was also shared which shows that the Redmi K60 with the code name 'socrates' will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. This is the most powerful flagship chip offered by Qualcomm used in Android devices.
Meanwhile, the Redmi K60 Pro with the code name 'modrian' is believed to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. The Redmi K60E with the code name 'Rembrandt' is said to be equipped with a MediaTek chip, either Dimensity 8200 or Dimensity 9200.
In a different development, all three are also rumored to have passed the 3C listing which indicates the pro variant is equipped with a 120W charging system. Meanwhile, the other two are simply equipped with a 67W charging system.
