Samsung believes Apple will release a folding screen device, when?

Samsung Mobile Experience (MX) held a meeting with component suppliers to discuss a number of topics, including when Apple will release an iPhone with a foldable screen.

In TheElec report, Samsung is said to be proud of the high demand for folding screen phones in South Korea, and many iPhone users in Samsung's home country have moved to using the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip lines, especially those aged 20 to 30 years.

The number of iPhone users switching to Samsung is said to be 3 to 4 times higher than in 2021, as quoted by GSM Arena, Sunday (6/11/2022).

Samsung MX officials also believe that Apple will release its first folding screen device in 2024. But not the iPhone, but a tablet or notebook whose screen can be folded.

This claim is in line with the rumors that previously circulated from the CCS Insight report. Oh yes, Samsung also believes that 90% of current folding screen device users will remain loyal to folding screen devices when they upgrade their cellphones later.

Previously reported, Samsung said sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in the market were the 2nd largest in the world. The first position is occupied by the countries of the European Union.

This is data as of September, which means that it is only a matter of months from its launch on the market.

Why Samsung foldable devices can get great interest in the country and continue to increase demand.

Again, Samsung is consistent from the first, second, third, and fourth Folds. In terms of software, we have Android 12L in collaboration with Google, we create a UI that is indeed user friendly. Samsung is serious about developing foldables especially in the market.

Moreover, Samsung is paying attention to foldable Flip and Fold devices for this year until next year. Therefore, it is not surprising that the statistics on the use of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 are claimed to continue to increase.

Meanwhile, for the percentage of Flip and Fold usage, it's not much different. Of all Flip and Fold users, around 52% are Flip users and the remaining 48% are Samsung Galaxy Fold users.
