The process of self-repairing Samsung devices at home will be easier because it appears that they will launch an application that teaches users how it can be done. According to Sammobile, Samsung filed a trademark for the Self Repair Assistant application.
Through the in-app application, each step to repair the device yourself will be clearly explained. This year Samsung launched a self-repair program for devices at home in collaboration with iFixit. However, this program is only offered to users in the United States and for certain models only.
In the United States, the movement to allow users to repair their own devices is gaining widespread support due to the rising cost of repairs. In addition to Samsung, Apple and Motorola also offer programs to repair damaged devices at home.
