See! Elon Musk Uses Twitter to Support Republicans

Twitter is finally being used by Elon Musk for politics. He asked Americans to vote for Republicans in the 2022 US midterm elections.

Can a social media CEO use his platform for politics? That's a question many people ask. But now Elon Musk is doing it.

Ahead of the November 8, 2022 by-election in the United States, Elon openly invites the American public to vote for the Republican Party. By-elections in America are elections to elect members of the legislature for the House of Representatives or the House of Representatives and Congress or the Senate.

"To all open-minded voters. Sharing power can withstand the bad effects of both parties. For that I recommend voting for the Republican Congress because the President is already a Democrat," Elon said in a pinned tweet, as seen Tuesday (8/11/2022) ).

Elon further said, hard-line supporters of the Democratic Party and Republican Party will not change his choice. So those who can do it are swing voters or independent voters.

Elon's tweet sparked pros and cons. Republicans are happy, while Democratic voters are upset. There are also accusations of Elon breaking promises and being hypocritical about making Twitter neutral in politics.

"Thank you, Elon. I will definitely vote for the Republican Party tomorrow. I don't want a nuclear war with Russia. I don't want high taxes. I don't want the government to help anyone but the American people themselves," said @ScottPresler.

"The rich tell the people to choose a party that only cares about the rich," quipped @MPillwax who supports the Democratic Party.

"Hey Elon Musk, in April you said Twitter would be politically neutral. How can you, as the leader of Twitter, suggest which party to vote for, after all the talk of political neutrality on Twitter?" protest @kanishka183.

Regarding netizen protests, Elon Musk still had time to chime in again. He said he had always voted for the Democratic Party and only changed this year to support the Republican Party.

"And I'm open to the thought of voting for a Democrat again in the future," Elon said.
