Xiaomi's new update on Weibo now reveals the official launch dates for some of its new products. This includes the latest variant of their smartphone which is Xiaomi 13 and audio accessories Xiaomi Buds 4. It will take place in China on December 1.
Talking about Xiaomi 13, it will be announced in two different model options which include Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The information revealed so far is quite limited but may give some indication of the offerings on the device. For example, it is clear that Xiaomi will work with Leica for the capabilities of the camera system on these devices. It follows that the Leica branding is clearly visible on the shared poster.
Next, the two advertised devices come with different screen sizes, but are able to offer a pretty good viewing experience. A flat-type OLED screen will be used on the Xiaomi 13 model with a matching thin bezel size of about 1.61mm. It is not certain whether the pro variant will be equipped with the same features or vice versa. But we can expect Xiaomi to definitely share more in the upcoming updates.
Sharing about the Xiaomi Buds 4, it shows a set of semi-open earphones paired with an oval charging pod. It differs from the previously announced pro model, but the glossy finish is still retained on it. No further information about the internal hardware has been revealed so far.
In addition, the new launch of MIUI 14 will also be announced at the same event.
