WhatsApp has started releasing a companion mode feature that allows users to connect one WhatsApp account to multiple Android devices at once. It turns out that this feature can also connect one WhatsApp account with Android and iPhone devices simultaneously!
This new feature was revealed by WABetaInfo who discovered it in WhatsApp beta for iOS version 22.24.0.76. This feature should be available to all users who have installed the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS via the TestFlight app.
WABetaInfo said previously that WhatsApp users on iOS could connect their accounts on Android devices after installing the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Android. But that Android device is not listed in the list of connected devices on iOS.
Finally, WhatsApp updated the list of connected devices in WhatsApp beta for iOS and Android devices are now recognized as one of the connected devices, as quoted from WABetaInfo, Sunday (4/12/2022).

This feature will certainly be welcomed by users who have Android phones and iPhones because they can access the same WhatsApp account on two different platforms simultaneously.
In the same update, it is known that the WhatsApp application was made using the iOS 16 SDK, which means that WhatsApp will support the features offered by iOS 16. But it is not yet known what updates will be brought, and this first built may also be full of bugs and glitches.
WhatsApp previously indulged Android and iPhone users by launching a chat transfer feature from Android to iPhone and vice versa.
It is not yet known when the companion mode feature will be available for WhatsApp users on iPhone. Currently WhatsApp has released the companion mode feature on Android in beta so some lucky users can already access one WhatsApp account on up to four different Android devices, including tablets.
