The Malaysian Ministry of Health (KKM) has now shared that the MySejahtera application will be used as an appointment system for all primary health facilities nationwide.
This will simultaneously overcome the problem of long waiting times, as well as reminding patients to attend appointments according to schedule.
This service will also include outpatient treatment, PeKa B40 health screening, pre-marriage screening, pre-employment / pre-study health screening, family planning services, procedures (wound treatment), and also national health screening initiatives.
With the use of this appointment system, it will facilitate scheduling according to capacity, and avoid congestion at the registration and waiting areas.
This service has been started in 673 health clinics in phases. The Ministry of Health also stated that the MySejahtera application appointment system for the year 2023 has already started, and can be done starting today.
