Acer is updating its Aspire PC lineup with Intel's 13th generation processors, including the Aspire S all in one (AiO) PC and the Aspire 3 and 5 laptops.
The sleek Aspire S all-in-one desktop comes in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes and is equipped with the latest 13th Generation IntelCore processors and Windows 11. Meanwhile, the Aspire 5 also features an Nvidia RTX GPU.
Acer Aspire S
AiO Aspire S PC designed to meet the needs of computing and family entertainment, comes in two versions, namely 27 inches and 32 inches.
The 32-inch version comes with options of up to 13th Gen IntelCore i7-13700 Desktop Processor and IntelArcA-Series Graphics, while the 27-inch model is powered by the latest 12th Gen IntelCore i5 & i7 Processors with IntelIrisXe Graphics.
There is a variant that is equipped with a screen with WQHD resolution, and also features a 1080p webcam and also a 1440p option with a ring light accessory for better image quality.
Meanwhile, in the security sector, there is Acer EyeSense and a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello. As an AIO, of course the Aspire S also has a large selection of ports and connectivity options, including support for WiFi 6E.
Acer Aspires 3 and 5
The new model in the Acer Aspire 5 line features a powerful 13th Generation IntelCore processor and is paired with a GPU up to NVIDIAGeForce RTX 2050. As a complete home laptop, the Aspire 5 series also comes with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and up to 1TB of M.2 SSD storage.
This combination makes Acer believe the Aspire 5 is suitable for various groups, from photographers to students. The available screen options are 1080p and 1440p resolution, with an IPS type panel and an aspect ratio of 16:10.
Even though it's not a gaming laptop, the Aspire 5 also has a capable cooling system, namely TwinAir Cooling, and utilizes the keyboard as an air inlet to increase its cooling capabilities.
Connectivity options include USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 port, Wi-Fi 6E and HDMI 2.1 for increased functionality when streaming or sharing files.
Meanwhile, the Aspire 3 is positioned as a laptop at an affordable price and can serve all family members. The processor used is Intel Core i3-N, and has a fairly light and thin body.
It weighs 1.6kg with a 18.9mm thick metal body. The screen is 1080p and features Acer BlueLightShield technology to reduce blue light emission, which is claimed to minimize eye strain. All models are also equipped with a USB Type-C port, HDMI 2.1 port and Wi-Fi 6E.
The Aspire line of laptops and desktops was introduced in Las Vegas, United States at the next@acer annual event.
