Lenovo Smart Paper Launched – An E-Ink Tablet Dedicated To Taking Notes


 At the CES 2023 event, Lenovo also launched the Lenovo Smart Paper. It is a tablet with an E-ink screen focused on notes and sketches as a substitute for paper. It is designed with a thin, light and easy to handle design so that it is easy to carry or store anywhere.



Lenovo Smart Paper uses a 10.3-inch E-ink screen with a resolution of 1872 x 1404 with anti-glare layer support and Dual Color Front Light for brightness control. It is powered by a RockChip RK3566 chip, 4GB RAM memory. Also built-in is a microphone for audio recording. The storage provided is 64GB which is claimed to be enough to store 50,000 notes which can also be managed by the user. The battery is 3550mAh and uses USB-C charging. Smart Paper also runs the Android 11 operating system.



Also included is the Lenovo Smart Pen, a battery-free stylus that can be stored directly on the provided protective frame. The stylus has a 23-millisecond lag for smooth and fast writing and sketching support.


Lenovo Smart Pen also supports smart features where it has 9 types of use such as pen, pencil, marker, or even calligraphy. The pressure level of this stylus is 4096 and can also detect when the stylus is tilted for writing or drawing with different thicknesses. Lenovo also includes 74 different note templates.



Smart Paper also has Android and iOS applications for users to access notes on any device at any time. E-book support is also provided through eBooks.com with access to over 2 million different books. The selling price for the time being is still not revealed, and it is also uncertain if it will be launched in the local market or not.
