It has been decades since the stylus was invented and in the early stages it was necessary for devices like the Palm Pilot because the touch screen at the time did not have high precision. Stylus is now back in popularity because it is the best way to create digital works directly on the screen of devices, tablets and computers.
But styluses like the S Pen and Apple Pencil can only be used on the device's screen and not on a paper surface. At CES, the MSI Pen 2 was launched with a graphite tip that allows it to work like a regular pencil on paper and sketch on the surface of the MSI laptop screen.
According to MSI, the Pen 2 graphics points do not scratch the laptop screen. It still has a high sensitivity of 4096 levels of pressure and detects tilt like other styluses. Through Microsoft MPP2.6 technology, users can feel haptic feedback when using it.
Through charging for 5 minutes, it can be used continuously for up to 10 hours. Graphite nibs that have been used up can be replaced like mechanical pencil nibs. A few replacement graphite points are given with every purchase. The MSI Pen 2 is included with every purchase of the MSI Creator Z as it is magnetically attached to the side of the laptop.
