Apple Introduces M2 Pro And M2 Max Processing Chips

 


Apple today introduced two of their latest high-powered processing chips, each known as the Apple M2 Pro and the Apple M2 Max.



The Apple M2 Pro comes with support for up to 12 CPU cores and 19 GPU cores, in addition to support for up to 32GB of memory.


While the Apple M2 Max doubles this offering up to 38 GPU cores, and offers up to 96GB of integrated memory.


With this performance, this chip offers the performance to perform tasks faster than any other chip on the market – including code convergence rates up to 25% faster than the M1 Pro.


The chip also offers the latest 16-core Neural Engine, as well as 40% faster performance than before.


This new chip is offered by Apple with their latest updated computers, namely the MacBook Pro and also the Mac Mini.
