Excited on Instagram, MU's new player plays Lato-Lato

 


Manchester United have officially signed a new player in this winter transfer, Wout Weghorst. Interestingly, the Dutch striker was introduced while playing lato-lato.

The lato-lato toy itself is currently becoming a trend in recent weeks, especially in Indonesia. The Red Devils also take advantage of the popularity of these toys in their latest Instagram account posts.



Of course, Weghorst doesn't play real lato-lato, but a filter while waving his arms at followers.


Not only that, MU's official Instagram account also contains information that uses Indonesian as if to interact specifically with its fans in Indonesia.


Seeing Wout Weghorst's unique introductory post immediately invited Indonesian netizens to comment.

MU brought in Wout Weghorst is the latest player to be brought in this winter.


On its official website, MU announced the loan of Weghorst, a Burnley player who is currently on loan at Besiktas. The 30-year-old player is on loan for 18 months or until June 2023.


To bring in Weghorst, MU had to pay for the cancellation of the player's contract at Besiktas. Because, the loan was supposed to last until the end of the season. Besiktas confirmed that MU paid off Weghorst for 2.85 million Euros.
