Maxis has now announced that they will temporarily suspend the access agreement with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) to use the 5G network.
Maxis stated this because the government has announced that it will reassess the introduction of 5G networks in Malaysia, as well as targeting a related policy to be presented in the first quarter of 2023.
In parallel, Maxis stated that it will delay the process of obtaining shareholder confirmation for this access agreement.
This also shows that Maxis will take some time before Maxis users can use the 5G network.
