At the end of last year, Netflix announced that they would no longer allow the sharing of user account passwords to users who do not live under the same roof.
Recently, a new announcement from Netflix is expected that they will implement a paid sharing function that allows those who share these passwords to pay a small additional fee to allow other individuals to access these accounts.
Sharing passwords between friends is common as Netflix is one of the most expensive television and movie streaming services on the market right now, especially if you subscribe to their Premium UHD plan.
Netflix may realize that even if they need to increase the company's revenue, preventing this password sharing is not the best way to do it. So, it can be seen that this additional payment for the partnership is the best move that can be thought of for now.
For now it is still unknown when Netflix will introduce this feature, but during the company's financial presentation event, Netflix said it will probably arrive around the first quarter of this year.
