Chinese New Year will be celebrated this weekend with many taking a long holiday to celebrate it in the village. Parallel to this big celebration, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the government agreed to grant exemptions for all categories of vehicles on all highways on 20 and 21 January.
With no toll collection, the issue of road congestion on the highway caused by vehicles making payments will be solved. The Prime Minister advised the public to always be careful throughout this festive season to avoid road accidents.
