The Store Tab Will Be Removed From The Instagram App Starting February

The use of Instagram is now more widespread, which is not limited to the sharing of photo and video content. In fact, it is also a medium to promote sales items and marketing elements related to business, Thus, a shop tab known as Shops has been added to the main display of the application in 2020 which aims to provide an easier shopping experience.

However, the tab will be completely removed from the Instagram application starting next February. This is aimed at making it easier for users to share and interact with friends. At the same time, also provides a more user-friendly navigation experience. Through it, the shortcut to create content will be moved to the main navigation bar of the application, then the Shops tab will be replaced with Reels.

According to Intagram, users can still do business and shop as usual on the application, but there will no longer be a dedicated tab. Instead, it is now more open through several forms of content such as ads, reels and key sharing that includes videos or photos. Are you one of those users who often shop directly from the Shops tab?
