MyDigital ID registration will open in March next year. This national digital identification system was launched to standardize the government service login system and enable better identity verification online. In China the RealDID system has been announced with it using block chain technology.
RealDID uses blockchain technology to verify the identity of 1.4 billion people through this initiative. Last October, platforms WeChat, Sina Weibo, Douyin, Kuaishou, and Bilibili required users with more than 500,000 followers to verify their true identity online. The RealDID system will be used for this verification.
RealDID was developed by the Ministry of Public Security by using the Block Chain Service Network (BSN) which is also managed by the government.
