Tesla Cybertruck Begins to Receive Buyers Four Years After Orders Opened

The four-year wait for Tesla Cybertruck customers ended early this morning after the first few vehicles were given to customers who made reservations in 2019. This first Tesla electric truck is offered in three models, namely basic, four-wheel drive and Cyberbeast.

The difference between the models lies in the motor configuration, battery capacity, travel distance and higher performance. In the event that took place this morning, Tesla once demonstrated the ability of the Cybertruck's stainless steel body which is bulletproof and has faster acceleration than a Porsche 911. The Porsche 911 was defeated by a Cyberbeast that was pulling another Porsche 911 behind it.

Although the four-year wait for Cybertruck is over. Tesla's various original promises were not fulfilled. Cybertruck prices now start at $60,990 which is more expensive than the original price of $39,900. For Cyberbeast for example, the price of this super truck reaches $99,990 apiece.

Overall Cybertruck's actual travel distance performance is also lower at only 547km compared to the original promise of 800km. Tesla does sell additional battery packs to increase operating range up to 756km but it takes up 1/3 of the cargo space in the back of the truck.

Will Cybertruck also enter the Malaysian market later? The Cybertruck is already listed on Tesla's official site but there is no order button. So far only the Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck models are displayed.
