Android Will Add A Feature That Can Identify If The Phone Has Been Stolen By Thieves, And Lock The Device Automatically

Google is now sharing some developments for the upcoming Android operating system, and one of them is focusing on security features. Through a new update later, Android devices will be able to identify the phone if stolen by a thief, and subsequently lock access to the device.

This step is achieved by identifying the device's sudden movement, which leads to the device being stolen by someone else. Once the system identifies the matter, it will automatically lock the device and prevent it from being accessed by anyone.

Google says this feature will come to all users of Android 10 and up later this year, via an update to Google Play Services.
