Honor announced the introduction of a new color for the Magic6 Pro flagship device in Malaysia as well as updating the existing options. The variation is known as Honor Magic6 Pro Cloud Purple which features a soft purple hue to create a romantic and elegant atmosphere for modern users. This color is also often chosen by women who also awaken their feminine side through a softer appearance.
Interestingly, this new color option still uses a simple idea through the back panel of a kind of leather. It is also adapted to be the main decoration that complements the exclusive features. The front is equipped with an OLED screen protected by the Honor NanoCrystal Shield. No specification changes have been made which means it is still the same as the previous model.
Commenting further on it, the main attraction of the device certainly lies in the performance and camera system. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is used with a memory option of 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The camera consists of 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultra-wide angle) + 180MP (telephoto periscope) with OIS. This telephoto camera supports 3X optical zoom and 100X digital zoom. The selfie camera is 50MP + 3D ToF which is placed in a small hole on the front screen.
The screen is 6.8″ with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also equipped with a brightness as high as 5,000nits, PWM Dimming function 4,350mAh and HDR10+ certification along with Dolby Vision for a better experience. The latest software MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 with AI model is also included for a number of new functions such as Magic Portal, Magic Ring and Magic Capsules.
Other specifications include a 5600mAh battery that can be charged via 80W wired and 66W wireless charging. Stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra are also provided as a complement to the device. For those interested, the Honor Magic6 Pro Cloud Puple is sold in Malaysia at a price of RM4,499 with availability from 31 May 2024.
