RHB Bank today made a surprise, and announced Apple Pay support for customers in Malaysia. With this move, customers of RHB Bank's banking services can add RHB Visa Debit debit and credit cards to Apple Pay, and use them for various transactions.
Through Apple Pay, users can add a card to it, and use an iPhone or other Apple device to touch the terminal for payment purposes. RHB says all RHB Visa credit and debit card users can use it, including the Multi-Currency Visa Debit card that supports payments in 33 different currencies without any transaction charges.
In parallel with this introduction, RHB also announced a cashback offer for a limited period, where users can receive cashback of up to RM30 when using the RHB card with Apple Pay for a minimum transaction of RM50. This cash back promotion is provided by RHB until 31 July 2024.
