PayPal Forms A Special Division Focused On Advertising Business

PayPal, one of the services known for facilitating payments between users, now also announced that they will form a special division that focuses on the advertising business.

Under this business, PayPal aims to gather various spending data by their users, and target appropriate advertisements to the respective PayPal users.

Previously, PayPal itself had begun experimenting with ad targeting, including using consumer purchase data for a retailer, and then offering special promotions and discounts to get them to make repeat purchases. With this latest move, PayPal wants to further expand their advertising offering – allowing more brands to use PayPal in advertising targeting.
