Yes, this is a Dell laptop and not an Apple product. The Dell Pro Max Plus laptop was announced at the Dell Technologies World 2025 event in Las Vegas yesterday. It is the first artificial intelligence (AI) workstation equipped with the Qualcomm AI 100 PC NPU which is used to perform inference.
Full specifications have not yet been revealed but it is confirmed to come with Intel Arrow Lake HX chips, up to 256GB of memory and up to 16GB of storage. The included Qualcomm AI 100 PC NPU is also equipped with 32 AI CPU cores with an AI processing capacity of 350 TOPS which is 7x more powerful than the NPU in the Copilot+ PC on the market today.
This extreme specification allows it to process AI models with 109 billion parameters making it suitable for use by AI engineers and data scientists. The selling price has not been announced at this time.
