The United States has already extended the ban on TikTok, forcing the Chinese company to sell its services to a US company or entity. Several companies have expressed interest in acquiring TikTok, but Bytedance has not commented on the matter.
The US president said the ban could be extended if no deal is reached by June 19, 2025.
TikTok was previously banned in the United States from January 2025, but the ban was extended until April, before being extended again until June 19, 2025.
It is not yet known whether China will allow the TikTok deal or not.
