Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chip Details Leaked – To Be Announced This September

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series of processor chips is a series of processor chips that are eagerly awaited by those who always want to use the most premium smart devices on the market today. Recently, some details about their upcoming flagship processor chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, have been leaked, and it is expected to be introduced earlier this year.

According to several reports, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip will show a 25 percent increase in CPU performance, and a 35 percent increase in GPU performance compared to what is offered on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The built-in cache memory on this latest chip will also reportedly be increased from 12MB from the previous generation to 16 percent, and this will greatly help the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip to improve graphics processing performance, in particular.

Manufactured on TSMC's N3P process, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip is expected to feature a CPU speed of up to 4.4GHz, along with more efficient power consumption that promises longer battery life, lower device temperatures, and significantly greater processor performance.

The reports also say that Qualcomm will introduce this processor in September 2025, and smart devices using it will start arriving in the market as early as October 2025.
