Huawei has officially announced that the Pura 80 series will be launched on June 11 in China. The series is expected to bring major advancements in mobile imaging technology with an emphasis on the camera system. It is enhanced with dual periscope support and a 1-inch CMOS sensor that is sure to be able to capture sharper images.
In terms of performance, the Huawei Pura 80 may be powered by the Kirin 9020 chip which is expected to offer an increase in processing efficiency. In addition, Huawei will introduce a new version of Maple Original Color Imaging technology which aims to improve color accuracy and visual quality of images. In addition, the series will use HarmonyOS 5 for a smoother user experience.
Huawei is also expected to no longer use the pop-up camera design like last year's model. Instead, they are focusing on a neater camera bump. In addition, this design can house four separate sensors in a triangular layout depending on the model.
