Showrunner Is the First Streaming Platform with Content Generated Entirely by AI

I'm sure many of our readers have had negative comments about the content on YouTube, Netflix, Prime, Astro and Disney+. You feel your idea is more brilliant than that generated by Vince Gilligan, Christopher Nolan and Syamsul Yusuf. Now you prove it through the Showrunner video streaming platform that was launched in the United States yesterday.

Showrunner is unique because all of its content is generated using generative artificial intelligence (AI). Customers pay up to $20 a month to produce Showrunner content which can then be streamed to other customers or offered on other platforms such as YouTube. For those who are not interested in generating their own series or movies, Showrunner content can be streamed for free.

The platform was developed by Fable and has been dubbed the "Netflix for AI" and has already received funding from Amazon according to a Variety report. The amount of investment made by Amazon was not disclosed. Showrunner was launched on a small scale with a limit of only 10,000 users at the moment.

Although so far only Amazon has confirmed an investment in Showrunner, collaborations with Hollywood studios such as Disney are underway in the hope that their original IP can be used to generate content.
