Honor has confirmed the official launch of its latest rugged phone, the Honor X9d, which will take place on 24 September 2025. The design of this device resembles the Honor X70 model launched in China last July but comes with several improvements.
It is equipped with a 108MP main camera and a round camera bump with a gold finish. The Honor X9d is designed to be durable with an IP69K rating which means it is dustproof, waterproof and resistant to high pressure. In addition, the Honor X9d is equipped with a silicon carbon-based battery with a capacity of 8300mAh which is one of the largest batteries ever used in a commercial smartphone.
However, the full specifications of this device have not yet been revealed and will only be officially announced on the day of its launch.
