Intel Has No Plans to Stop Arc GPU Production at This Time

The purchase of around 5% of Intel shares by NVIDIA this week is one of the most surprising news in the technology world. Intel, which is fighting to stay alive, was given $5 billion by a competitor in a surprise move. Among the confirmations made by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is that Intel processor chips will be equipped with NVIDIA GPUs from now on.

For those who want to know the future of Intel Arc GPUs, Intel representatives said that they have no plans to stop production at this time, according to a PCWorld report. Intel's product direction has not changed from its original plan.

The Intel Arc Battlemage graphics card is offered as an affordable alternative to NVIDIA and AMD products. The discontinuation of the product will reduce competition and this is bad news for users who are increasingly lacking in choice compared to 20 years ago.

How far Intel will really stay with Arc will only be known after the original direction ends. Since carrying out a cost-cutting program, Intel has stopped production of AI chips and certain nodes at the same time as it wants to offer a more competitive product.
