Samsung launched two Sound Tower party speakers at IFA Berlin today. Both have a more rounded design that reminds us of Sony and JBL offerings. The Samsung Sound Tower ST50F and Sound Tower ST40F both come with LED lights that flash to the rhythm of the song being played.
The lights are placed around the subwoofer, tweeter, body frame, base and also the handle part that doubles as a place to place tablets and smartphones. Both are also equipped with a pair of wheels to make it easy to move them to the party location. Other interesting additional features are karaoke mode, guitar input and also DJ Booth feature.
The Sound Tower ST50F has a 240W output power, a battery life of up to 18 hours, two 6.5″ woofers, two 25mm tweeters, IPX4 waterproofing and also a handle that can be adjusted in height. Meanwhile, the Sound Tower ST40F has 160W output power, a battery life of up to 12 hours, two 5.25″ woofers, two 2omm tweeters, IPX4 waterproofing and a holder. The selling price has not been announced.
