Threads has a limit of only 500 characters and therefore writing long essays is not possible. But the fact is that some topics require a longer explanation. Therefore, Threads has now activated a new feature that allows users to attach additional text documents with a limit of 10,000 characters. With this, you can write blogs, place excerpts from books or transcripts directly in Threads.
To use this feature, press the new document icon that appears when a new post is to be written. A new window for attaching a long document will appear on the screen. After the post is uploaded to threads, a small window for this document will be displayed in the timeline. The entire text can only be read after this window is pressed.
This feature is already available with Meta saying that improvements will be made after receiving user input. What is interesting is that Threads provides the feature for free to everyone while X provides the same feature called Articles for Premium + subscribers only.
