At Thecekodok, I produce hundreds of images for use as front-end images on sites and YouTube. Since generative AI has been widely introduced, I admit to tinkering with it, but the images generated are nothing like hand-crafted works.
At Adobe MAX 2025, Firefly Custom Models were announced, finally allowing AI models to be trained on personal artwork to produce images that are more similar to their own creations. Users simply upload an image to Firelfy to start training their own models. The trained models can only be used by the owner of the artwork and will not be shared with other users.
There is no additional cost. Generated images still require Firefly credits with the monthly quota provided with each Creative Cloud subscription. This will reset at the beginning of the month or additional credits can be purchased.
Firefly Custom Models is still in Beta and requires an invitation to use. Those interested can put their names on the waiting list today.
