CelcomDigi, the leading local telecommunications company, today launched a new app to replace its existing consumer apps, Celcom Life and MyDigi.
The latest app, which comes under the name CelcomDigi, is ready for use for the telecommunications service’s customers where they can use it to register new numbers, pay monthly phone bills, buy new smart devices or subscribe to their favorite streaming services from one location.
CelcomDigi Acting CEO, Albern Murthy said that since both Celcom and Digi merged, they have also been ready to develop this new app with their in-house workforce. It was built based on input from 10 million customers, which has now increased to over 20 million customers and 100 thousand beta testers when developed, and the result is what can be seen today.
Along with the launch of this application, all CelcomDigi customers who download this application will receive attractive promotions, such as the purchase of 100GB data for one day at RM1, discounts on Disney+ Hotstar and Viu subscriptions and also free roaming services for 12 months.
The CelcomDigi application can now be downloaded via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. CelcomDigi also confirmed that an application is being developed for the Huawei App Gallery platform, and its launch will be coming soon.
In the meantime, the Celcom Life and MyDigi applications will be terminated by 31 December 2025.
