Consumers who were charged a non-subsidized price for RON95 petrol due to technical disruptions at petrol stations can submit a refund claim for the price difference. The implementation of the Budi Madani RON95 (BUDI95) initiative has reportedly been running smoothly since it began on 30 September 2025, and any system disruptions have been addressed and resolved promptly by the relevant parties.
Refund claims can be made for purchases made between 30 September to 31 October 2025. Applications are open from 9 October and must be accompanied by proof of purchase. Approved claims will be credited within 15 working days. For further enquiries, the public can contact the SKPS Call Centre at 03-8882 5893, 5894, 5923 or 6667, or via email bayanbalikmysubsidi@kpdn.gov.my.
At the same time, the government is urging the public to check and ensure that the information on their MyKad and driving licence is accurate and matches. This step is important to ensure eligibility to receive targeted subsidies under the BUDI95 programme.
