The Huawei Mate 80 series is expected to be launched in China in the near future, although the official launch date has not yet been announced. The device has been listed on the sales certification site, indicating that its launch is getting closer.
Meanwhile, the viral image shows significant changes to the rear panel, especially the redesigned round camera module compared to the Mate 70 series. The Mate 80 Pro model is reported to come with three cameras arranged in a triangle, namely a periscope telephoto lens at the top along with the main camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera at the bottom.
In addition, this camera module is equipped with two elongated LED lights and a steel-like ring that highlights its design. Also visible is an additional component that is believed to function as a color or light sensor. The series also introduces a new color option, namely yellow.
In terms of specifications, the Huawei Mate 80 is expected to maintain the main features of the previous series. However, it comes with several improvements such as 100W fast charging, a new Kirin chip, and at least one model equipped with a built-in cooling fan.
