After YouTube integrated the Shopee Affiliate feature a few months ago, Facebook is now doing the same, making it easier for local content publishers to generate income when the Shopee products they promote are sold. This new feature is being introduced to Facebook users in stages.
Through this integration, Facebook also allows promotions to be done by sharing posts on the platform, or also adding products to be promoted via Reels. As usual, if the user wants to make a purchase, it will take the user to the Shopee platform.
For now, this integration feature is offered to users over 18 years old and is only offered through Facebook Pages or professional profile pages. If you have the relevant account, you can go to the monetization page, and link the Shopee Affiliate account, and then you can search for products and share them through the relevant social site.
Like on YouTube, you can also see the commission that will be generated for each product sale, and do the products you want to promote. With this step, we may also see content publishers on the Facebook or Meta platforms will be more active in promoting Shopee products.
To complete the Facebook and Shopee Affiliate integration process, you just need to go to the Professional Dashboard > Monetization.
