We previously reported that Intel will reveal more details about their latest laptop processor series, Intel Panther Lake, on October 9th. According to the latest report, the information that will be revealed this week is only a small part of what the public wants to know.
What will be revealed at this week's announcement includes changes in terms of core specifications that will be used, including Cougar Cove for the Performance core and Darkmont for their Efficiency core.
Perhaps more interesting is the new Intel Arc Xe3 (Arc Celestial) graphics processing chip that will be used together with this processor series.
The leaker of the information, Golden Pig Upgrade said that further details such as the model name, number of cores and performance of the processor chip will only be revealed as early as January 2026 during the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 event that will take place in Las Vegas.
This also means that we will only see new laptops powered by this Panther Lake processor chip as early as the first quarter of next year.
