Microsoft Reiterates That They Will Still Develop a New Gaming Console

Microsoft is currently seen in a dilemma regarding their PC gaming segment. The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally portable gaming console was just launched together with ASUS, but it has also recently increased the price of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscriptions, which many users describe as something that does not benefit anyone.

There are also rumors that Xbox will no longer develop a next-generation gaming console, but Microsoft has denied this by repeating that they will still introduce a new console by the end of 2026.

The announcement regarding the new console was made in the middle of this year when Microsoft signed a new agreement with AMD to build a next-generation gaming console.

The price increase for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscriptions is seen because the Xbox Cloud Gaming computer game streaming service has already exited the beta phase, and other additions such as a free subscription to Fortnite Crew and so on.

Not many details are known about this console right now, but Microsoft has also confirmed that it will at least support games on Xbox 360 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
